Our annual fundraiser Music from the Heart was a huge success! After three years of virtual events, I know everyone was thrilled to be back together in person. As a newbie to ABCFOC, it was especially wonderful to be able to meet so many of our families, friends, board members, staff, and supporters. The energy was palpable, and I was buzzing well into the next week. My heart was full after seeing first-hand, how incredible this community is when it comes together. The stories, performances, and generosity shown that evening renewed my sense of gratitude to be supporting the work of our organization.
Huge thank you to everyone who came out and to our event sponsors and donors who made it all possible. Together, we raised over $64,000 in support of our post adoption services. These programs are available, free of charge, to Delaware families.

About Post Adoption Services
Our children have experienced unspeakable trauma that can result in them struggling with a wide range of challenges, including aggression, emotional dysregulation, delinquent behaviors, and significant interpersonal difficulties. Our post adoption services are vital in supporting these challenges. These services include support groups for parents and teens, trainings specific to adoption issues, parenting education, workshops to help families relate better to one another, Rec-n-Respite, overnight respite services, crisis consultation, and individual support for families. Our Music from the Heart fundraiser collects critical funds to ensure our ability to provide these programs every year, thanks to you.
