Each one of them deserves a safe\, loving\, and permanent family in which they can thrive. \n\nOur programs are primarily funded through state contracts\, which help us provide essential services to children and families. But state funding and insurance\, only cover a portion of what it truly takes to help a child heal and thrive.\n\nThe truth is\, there are critical gaps.\n\nGaps in the resources parents need to build strong\, lasting connections with their children.\nGaps in therapeutic supports that help children process trauma and develop healthy coping skills.\nGaps in family-centered events\, respite care\, and community experiences that create a safety net for families who often feel isolated.\nGaps in 24/7\, lifetime support\, because challenges don’t happen on a schedule\, and having someone to call when everything is falling apart can change the outcome.\nGaps in emergency funds\, so families can focus on their children instead of worrying about how to replace a broken refrigerator or pay for a therapy not covered by insurance.\n\nThese are the moments and services that change lives and they aren’t covered by state funding.\n\nThat’s where you come in.\n\nYour support bridges the gap between what funding allows and what families truly need\, ensuring no family walks this journey alone.\n\nJoin us for Delaware’s largest day of giving here!

DESCRIPTION:Special Guest Presenter: Jessica Sinarski\, LPCMH \nOur brain alarms help us survive\, but when they get extra protective and leave us feeling anxious\, it can be tough to do even the simplest thing. For many of our kids\, anxiety is a constant companion that makes everyday tasks feel impossibly hard. Anxiety can cause our kids to look at every situation through a “worst possible outcome” lens\, leaving them feeling incapable of doing things like homework assignments\, chores\, or even participating in their favorite sport. Sometimes\, anxiety can look like intentional disobedience or outright defiance\, sometimes it can look like the child just doesn’t care\, or that they just don’t want to try hard enough. But what if it’s the case for your child that it’s anxiety that’s taking over\, leaving them feeling completely stuck under the fear of the unknown?  This workshop will provide parents with information\, proven strategies\, and practical tools to help their children say HELLO to their anxiety\, and to tackle those moments when everything just seems too overwhelming to even try. \nJessica Sinarski\, LPCMH\, is an award-winning author who translates neuroscience into action steps and practical tools that kids and families can begin to use immediately to help harness the power of their amazing brains.
